Restoring Our Historical Buildings
These past two years, we not only raised ALL the funds to complete the Boathouse and Wheelhouse projects, but we SURPASSED our goal! This is part of our larger building campaign, “On the Way to the Garden Court,” which is currently focused on restoring our existing historical buildings. The Boathouse now offers two hermitage rooms for guests seeking quiet sanctuary on retreat, and the Wheelhouse will be completely restored by the end of Summer 2026.
Friends & Members Weekend
Each autumn, our Golden Lotus Board hosts a “Friends and Members” weekend at the Retreat center. This weekend provides opportunity for the Board to share about recent projects and gather input from our membership. It is also a time for fellowship, devotion, meals, and enjoying our beautiful retreat center together. Our 2026 weekend is set for October 23-25.
